Therapy

Update: Please note at this time I am not taking on any new counselling clients.

PRACTICE

Welcome to my counseling practice. I work with individuals and families to create a safe, caring and grounded space where we work with your goals and vulnerabilities. I meet you where you’re at while encouraging you to gain insight and create a balanced life with meaningful connections.

My practice centres issues related to life stresses, anxiety, depression, trauma, as well as issues related to queer and trans identities, gender transitions, fertility issues and developing relationship and communication skills.

All of my work is guided by anti-oppression and social justice. I draw heavily from trauma informed practice, relational and mindfulness models and follow a strength-based approach. I help clients understand their nervous systems and the connection between the mind and body and am currently training in the approach of Somatic Experiencing.

I am here to assist and support you as best as I can, in a non-judgmental way. I am known as someone who is warm, gentle, and I have a good sense of humor. I am also a Jewish Queer parent. I receive clinical supervision as well as am part of a peer supervision group. I am committed to being present with you as we explore your emotions and life experiences.

With compassion, care, and experience, I will support you in your goals.
